High Atlas & Valleys of South

This itinerary takes us to the south-West of Moroccan Atlas. This region is yet to be won over by mass tourism despite its numerous assets: Beautiful mountains, green oasis, wild beaches …etc.

The Tassaoute valley – The Mgdez village – The Skoura palm groove – The roses valley – The Ounila valley – The Dades valley – The Ait Benhadou village.

Day 1 : Marrakech / Demnate / The Tassaoute valley / Mgdez / Ait ali N'Itto

Meet with your guide and departure to Demnate. We then visit the natural bridge of Imi n Ifri and we head towards the valley of the Tassaoute. We will also visit the village of Mgdez. We dine and spend the night in a cottage in the village of Ait Ali n Itto.

Day 2 : Amzri / Imi n'oullaouen / Boutrare

We go to the village of Ait Hamza and Amzri and then through the pass of Imi n'Oulaouwn we descend to the souk of Had n Ouzaghar. We then reach the valley of Ait Ahmed and the Village of Boutrare by the plateau of Azaghar. We dine and sleep in a hostel.

Day 3 : The valley Ait Ahmed / Boutrare

We walk in the valley of Ait Ahmed and Mgoun. Dinner and overnight at the hostel.

Day 4 : The Dades valley / Skoura

We follow the trail leading to the valley of Dades, visit gorges and continue in this valley. We then have lunch and then leave for Skoura where we visit the Kasbah of Amerdile. Dinner and overnight at a hostel in Skoura.

Day 5 : Ouarzazate / Ait benhadou / the Tichka Pass / Marrakech

We leave for Ouarzazate and then visit the fortified village of Ait Benhadou. We finally return to Marrakech through the valley of Ounila and the pass of Tichka.

Inn, gîte.

Formalities :

A passport valid for 3 months from the day of entry into Morocco is required (essential), for nationals of the European Community (no visa).

For minors, they must have their own passport.

If the child is traveling with someone other than his or her parents :

An authorization or a legalized letter to the mayor indicating that their parents allow their child to go on a trip with the person accompanying him / her.

Health :

It is about being healthy. Provide a small pharmacy kit (dressings, aspirin, anti-inflammatories, antibiotics, anti-diarrhea, total screen, lip balm, eye drops).

Water and drinks :

Drinks are not included in the price.

The price :

All our prices vary according to the number of participants.

The price indicated will be definitive (there will be no surprises of the additional costs!).

Framing :

You will be accompanied by a mountain guide and your driver.

You will be notified of the schedule and venue with your guide and driver.

Money and tips :

Currency is the Dirham. 1 € = 10.60 Dh.

Provide cash to pay for your drinks and meals if not included in the estimate, and for tips for the team accompanying you during your trip.

Accommodation :

You will be informed of the names of your accommodations in the technical sheet.

Clothing and small items :

It is necessary to wear comfortable shoes for walking and walking. It is hot during the day but the nights can be cool. It is therefore advisable to provide outfits accordingly: Anorak - polar - jogging - T-shirts - Bermudas - hat or chèque, and sunglasses.

Meals :

According to the circuits, they will be meadows in small restaurants or in your accommodation

Travel and Transportation :

4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser or similar are specially assigned to 4X4 and raid circuits. For the other circuits, comfortable minibuses will be at your disposal. For your comfort and safety all vehicles have a tourist transport approval.

Photo / Videos :

Always ask for permission before photographing a person.

It is forbidden to photograph or film anything that is military.

Digital cameras: Have enough memory and batteries.

In cities you will find lab-photos to transfer your files to CD.
