At the rendezvous of this trip, a large parade of landscapes and colors on a mesmerizing itinerary: The blue city of Essaouira, the high green valleys of the Atlas Mountains, the edge of the wild ocean and finally, The ocher city of Marrakech.

 Day 1 : Marrakech

 Arrival in Marrakech, welcome at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Marrakech

 Day 2 : Ourika / Oukaimeden / Agounes

 Return with your guide to your accommodation and then transfer to the valley of Ourika, then the plateau of Oukaimeden, go with your mule team and then start the hike to the sheepfolds d 'Iferguane' and start of the climb to the Tizi neout 3050 m pass, picnic lunch and then downhill towards Aguens valley, bivouac towards village of Aguens. 4h30 of walk and 1h30 of road. Difference in altitude: 550 m Difference in altitude -: 850 m

 Day 3 : Agadas / Col Iaabassen / Tachdirte

 By the Col d'Agounes, to reach the village of Iaabassen and then long ascent to reach the col of the same name at 3160m, beautiful panoramic view of the Atlas mountains, descent towards The bivouac of Touna, just before the valley of Imnane. 6h30 to 7h walking.

 Day 4 : Tachdirte / Ikkis / Imsker

  Descend to the beautiful valley of Imnane, crossing several villages: Tachdirte, Ounskra, Timguiste, Ikkis, and then by the Gliz pass we join the valley of Oussertek, Lunch towards the village of 'Assaka, and afternoon trek to the villages of Tidelli, Tingrine and then join our bivouac to the village of Imsker. 6 hours of walking. Difference in altitude: 400 m Difference in altitude -: 1200 m

 Day 5 : Asni / Sidi Kaouki

 By the Imsker pass we join our vehicle in the village of Imi n'Oughlad, End of hike in the Atlas. Transfer by minibus to reach the Atlantic coast to the south of Essaouira, Lunch in a small restaurant en route. Installation and dinner in a cottage in the village of Sidi Kaouki. 1 hour walk and 4 hours drive.

 Day 6 : Sidi Kaouki / Sidi Mbarek

  After breakfast, we meet our camel team with their camels and start the hike by heading south through beautiful and beautiful beaches. We set up our bivouac near the sidi M'barek waterfalls. 3H of walking. Picnic lunch at the bivouac. Free afternoon.

 Day 7 : Sidi Mbarek / Iftane

 We leave the mouth of the Wadi Arhbalou by a trail on a hillside. Some shelters under rock are arranged in small cabins, to welcome in the evening the fishermen who tirelessly search the rocks at low tide. We continue our journey south to reach the magnificent beach of Iftane and its small fishing port .4h walk. We set up our bivouac on the beautiful beach of Iftane. Free afternoon on the beach.

 Day 8 : Iftane / Tafdna / Essaouira

  We leave the beach of Iftane, where the fishermen prepare their boat for the next exit. Depending on the tide, we pass the tip of Lamarka by the beach, or we cross it by a natural staircase, before descending a long and beautiful sandy beach to the ocean of Sidi Ahmed Saih. And then by a donkey path in balcony with magnificent views of the Atlantic we join the beautiful beach of Tquert n'Offous. We then climb to join the argan tree forest on the plateau of Tagant, then we descend to join our minibus in Tafdna, last bathing and then transfer to Essaouira. Night in a riad in the medina ..

 Day 9 : Free day in Essaouira, overnight at the riad.

 Day 10 : Transfer to Marrakech, Installation in your riad.

 Day 11 : Free day in Marrakech to visit this beautiful ocher city.

 Day 12 : Transfer to Marrakech airport

 

 Important :

  This itinerary is given as an indication, for various reasons due to inclement weather or others, your guide may  have to make changes on the program, if necessary, for the smooth running of your trip.

Formalities :

A passport valid for 3 months from the day of entry into Morocco is required (essential), for nationals of the European Community (no visa).

For minors, they must have their own passport.

If the child is traveling with someone other than his or her parents :

An authorization or a legalized letter to the mayor indicating that their parents allow their child to go on a trip with the person accompanying him / her.

Health :

It is about being in good physical condition. During the hike, it is necessary to be self-sufficient and take with you a medicine kit (dressings, aspirin, anti-inflammatory, antibiotics, anti-diarrhea, total screen, lip balm, disinfectant tablets, eye drops).

Water and drinks :

For this circuit, the supply of water is made in springs or wells, its treatment is recommended (type Micropur). Tea is served at noon (except for the stages where the mules or the camels do not follow the same route as the group) and at the arrival of stage. In the evening a tea is offered after the meal.

Portage :

Each participant walks on foot with a light backpack, containing only the personal belongings necessary for the day (gourd, camera, pharmacy kit ...). The remainder of the equipment and equipment of the bivouac, as well as the supplies, are transported by the mules.

The price indicated will be definitive (there will be no surprises of the additional costs!).

Framing :

A professional  guide certified by the Mountain Trades Training Center (CFAMM) will accompany you for all our treks. Depending on the trip, you will be assisted by a team of mule drivers and cook.

You will be notified of the schedule and venue with your guide or driver.

Money and tips :

Currency is the Dirham. 1 € = 10.60 Dh.

Allow cash to pay for your drinks and meals if not included in the estimate, and for tips for the team accompanying you during your hike / trip.

Accommodation :

To better enjoy the outdoors and nature, we opted for the formula "Bivouac" as accommodation. The places of our bivouacs are chosen according to several criteria: The beauty of site, the calm, the security, the proximity of a water point .... We provide two-seater tents with foam mattress with sleeping cover, mess tents for the evening meal, floor mats, cutlery and kitchen items. We also sleep in a cottage before starting the Atlantic hike

In the cities of Marrakech and Essaouira, nights are expected in hotels and riads of good comfort, in double or triple room. There is possibility in single room / tent for an extra charge.

Clothing and small items :

It is necessary to wear good quality shoes "hiking in the mountains". It is hot during the day but the nights can be cool. It is therefore advisable to provide outfits accordingly: Anorak - fleece - jogging - t-shirts - bermudas - hat or chèque, and sunglasses - swimsuit for the atlantic excursion

Headlamp, spare bulbs and batteries, lighter to burn litter, sunscreen cream for skin and lips, toiletries, toilet paper, wipes for cleaning.

Meals :

During the hike they are prepared by a cook. Made with fresh products, they are mainly composed of salads cooked in midday and local dishes in the evening (couscous, tagine ...). A full breakfast is served outdoors or in tents before starting the day. During the bivouacs and for more comfort, meals are served every night under the mess tent. Dry fruits (dates, dried figs, peanuts & pralines) are offered to the participants during the hike.

Materials to be provided :

Cloisonne sleeping bag, normal use 0 to -5 ° C - Hiking sticks especially for mountain descents - tennis or sandal with good soles to relax at the end of the hike - A rain cape.

Travel and Transportation :

Transfers are carried out in taxi, in group-reserved minibuses, or private 4x4. For your comfort and safety all vehicles have a tourist transport approval.

Always ask for permission before photographing a person.

It is forbidden to photograph or film anything that is military.

Digital cameras: Have enough memory and batteries.
