Trek with mules.
With its airs of Hoggar, the jebel Saghro is a massif of granite and sandstone, sheltering canyons, peaks, forests of pitons and also oases and small palm groves. This mineral chaos is the stronghold of the great nomadic tribe of the Ait Atta.

Itinerant hike - The forest of rocky peaks of Tadoute n'Teblah, site of Bab n'Ali - Small villages in the austere valleys, framed by a Berber team.

Day 1 : Marrakech

Arrival in Marrakech, welcome, transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 : Tichka / Ouarzazate / Boumalne / Tagdilte

After breakfast, go with your guide, and then departure for the south, by the Tichka pass 2260, we join the plateau Oued El maleh, Lunch in Ouarzazate. The road forks east, passing through the palm grove of Skoura. After dadés we join our cottage in the village of Tagdelte 1650m. Dinner and overnight at the Gite. 6 hours drive.

Day 3 : Tagdelte / Almou n'Ouarg

We leave the plateau of Dades to cross the pass of Ouarzazem 2300m with its beautiful panoramic view on the peaks of the atlas, descent towards the place of bivouac in Almou n Ouareg at 2200m, 5h of walk. Difference in altitude +: 650m. Difference in altitude -: 100m

Day 4 : Kouaouch / Igli

Climb up to the col of Imi n'Ouarg 2530m, and then the summit of Kouaouch 2600m, a beautiful panoramic view on the Saghro massif and the deserts of the south and further north the Mgoun with its 4000m, after long descent to Join our camp at Igli 1650m, 5h30 walk. Vertical drop +: 400m. Difference in altitude -: 750m

Day 5 : Afourer / Bab N'Ali

Descend to the Canyon of Afourer, and from there we follow a small valley enclosed, with plots of fields of barley, alfalfa and Hené, some small villages on our way, picnic in the wadi, We join the site of bab n'Ali for the bivouac at 1350 m, 5 hours walk. Vertical rise +: 250m. Difference in altitude: - 400m

Day 6 : Tadaout N Tebllah / Tamguiste

A day to discover the beautiful plateau of Tadaout n Tebllah with its arrows and stone needles, a magnificent site, several shelters for the nomads built either with stones, picnic lunch, before joining the oases of Tamguiste at 1400m. 6h walk .. Elevation gain: 250m. Difference in altitude: - 400m

Day 7 : Tamguiste / Tamrendout

Hike along the valley of tawdacht, pass through several villages with their fields, pass by the Oasis of Tamrendout at 1200m and further go with our carrier for a small transfer to Nkob. Dinner and overnight in a hostel. 6 hours of walking. .. Elevation gain +: 100m. Difference in altitude -: 300m

Day 8 : Nkob / The Draa Valley / Marrakech

After breakfast, departure by minibus, for the valley of Draa and Ouarzazate, visit of ksar Ait Benhadou, classified World Heritage by Unesco and then by the collar of Tichka we join Marrakech. Night in your Riad.

Day 9 : Free day in Marrakech.

Day 10 : Transfer to Marrakech airport.

Important :

Formalities :

A passport valid for 3 months from the day of entry into Morocco is required (essential), for nationals of the European Community (no visa).

Health :

It is about being in good physical condition. During the hike, it is necessary to be self-sufficient and take with you a medicine kit (dressings, aspirin, anti-inflammatory, antibiotics, anti-diarrhea, total screen, lip balm, disinfectant tablets, eye drops).

Water and drinks :

For this trek, the supply of water is made in sources, its treatment is recommended (type Micropur). Tea is served at noon (except for the stages where the mules do not follow the same route as the group) and at the arrival of stage. In the evening a tea is offered after the meal.

Portage :

Each participant walks on foot with a light backpack, containing only the personal belongings necessary for the day (gourd, camera, pharmacy kit ...). The remainder of the equipment and equipment of the bivouac, as well as the supplies, are transported by the mules.

Framing :

A professional  guide certified by the Mountain Trades Training Center (CFAMM) will accompany you for this trek.                   You will be assisted by a team of muleteers and cook.

Your guide will be waiting for you at the airport, or he will find you the day of departure in trek in your hotel. You will be notified of the appointment schedule with your guide.

Currency is the Dirham. 1 € = 10.60 Dh.

Accommodation :

To better enjoy the outdoors and nature, we opted for the formula "Bivouac" as accommodation. The places of our bivouacs are chosen according to several criteria: The beauty of site, the calm, the security, the proximity of a water point .... We provide two-seater tents with foam mattress with sleeping cover, mess tents for the evening meal, floor mats, cutlery and kitchen items.

In the city in Marrakech: Nights in 3 * hotel (based on Moroccan classification), in a double or triple room. There is possibility in single room / tent for an extra charge.

Clothing and small items :

It is necessary to wear good quality shoes "hiking in the mountains". It is hot during the day but the nights can be cool. It is therefore advisable to provide outfits accordingly: Anorak - polar - jogging - T-shirts - Bermudas - hat or chèque, and sunglasses. In the middle of winter: Gloves and bonnet will be welcome especially in the evening and early in the morning.

Headlamp, spare bulbs and batteries, lighter to burn litter, sunscreen cream for skin and lips, toiletries, toilet paper, wipes for cleaning.

Meals :

During the hike they are prepared by a cook. Made with fresh products, they are mainly composed of salads cooked in midday and local dishes in the evening (couscous, tagine ...). A full breakfast is served outdoors or in tents before starting the day. During the bivouacs and for more comfort, meals are served every night under the mess tent. Dry fruits (dates, dried figs, peanuts & pralines) are offered to the participants during the hike.

Materials to be provided :

Cloisonne sleeping bag, normal use 0 to -5 ° C - Hiking sticks especially for mountain descents - tennis or sandal with good soles to relax - A rain cape.

Travel and Transportation :

Transfers are carried out in taxi, in group-reserved minibuses, or private 4x4. For your comfort and safety all vehicles have a tourist transport approval.

Always ask for permission before photographing a person.
