To the north of the Central High Atlas is a multitude of summits whose height is about 4000 m: the M'Goun (4071 m), the djebel Rhat (3800 m). The magnificent valleys of the Berbers of Ait Bougmez, Ait Boulli, Tassaoute and Aarous stand at the foot of these mountains. Their inhabitants "Amazighen" have built villages among the most beautiful of Atlas.

Day 1 : Marrakech

Welcome to Marrakech airport and transfer to your hotel.

 Day 2 : Marrekch / Azilal / Ait Bougmez / Agouti

After breakfast, meet your guide and transfer by minibus to the Ait Bougmez valley, via the town of Azilal. Installation in our gite of stage in the village of agouti for two days.

Dinner and overnight at the Gite.

Day 3 : Agouti / Sidi Moussa

After breakfast, hike in this beautiful valley of the Bougmez "nicknamed the happy valley", visit several villages, climb to the collective attic of Sidi Moussa to admire a panoramic view from the summit. Return at the end of the day to our cottage. 5h30 walking. Elevation gain: 300m. Difference in altitude -: 300m

Day 4 : Agouti / Azib Ikkis

After breakfast, meet our team of muleteers and start the hike to the Aarous valley, pass through the villages of Ait Aaid, Aarous and join our bivouac towards the sheepfolds of azib n'Ikkis, according to The weather you can go for a walk in the gorges of aarous .. 4h30 walk. Elevation gain: 500m. Difference in altitude: 100m

Day 5 : Azib Ikkis / Tizi amskine / Tafenfente

Climb to the amskine pass 2700m, and then down the wadi Taghia, lunch picnic in a grout, the afternoon always along the wadi taghia until our bivouac in Tafenfente 2350m. 6 hours of walking. Elevation gain: 700m. Difference in altitude -: 400m

Day 6 : Tafenfente / Rougoulte

After crossing a small forest of green oak we join the village of Ifri n'Ait Kherfella by a path on the slope of Djebel of Tifdaniwine. And then down to the village of Rougoulte at 1800m. Afternoon walk in the village. .5H of walking. Elevation gain: 800m. Difference in altitude -: 500m

Day 7: Tizi N Rougoulte / the top of the Tassaoute

We climb the wadi Daghour and then we cross the Col de Rougoulte 2860m, ​​and descend to the wadi Tassaoute, Bivouac near the wadi 6h walk. Height difference: 1000m. Difference in altitude -: 500m.

Day 8 : Tassaoute n'Oufla / Amzri / imi n'Ikkis

By a small pass, we reach the valley of Tassoaute n'Oufela, and then we follow it, from village to village to our place of bivouac in Imi n'Ikkis. Bivouac near the wadi 5 hours walk. Difference in altitude: 300m. Difference in altitude -: 400m.

Day 9 : Ichbakken / Ait Ali N'Itto

Hike along the valley of the Tassaout, crossing many villages (Ichbaken, Ait Hamza and Aït ali Nito ...). Night in a gite at 1 800 m. 5 hours walk. Difference in altitude +: 200m. Difference in altitude -: 400m

Day 10: Magdez / Marrakech

Visit of the village of Mgdez. Then transfer to Marrakech by the natural bridge of Imi n Ifri and Demante. 1h30 to walk. 4h30 of road. Difference in altitude: 200m, Difference in altitude -: 200m. Installation in your Riad in the medina of Marrakech

Day 11 : Free day in Marrakech.

Day 12 : Transfer to Marrakech airport.

Important :

This itinerary is given as an indication, for various reasons due to inclement weather or others, your guide may have to make changes on the program, if necessary, for the smooth running of your trip.

3 nights in a comfortable cottage, 5 nights in bivouac under tent, 1 night in a hotel of category 3 *** and 2 nights in a charming riad in Marrakech.

Formalities :

A passport valid for 3 months from the day of entry into Morocco is required (essential), for nationals of the European Community (no visa).

For minors, they must have their own passport.

If the child is traveling with someone other than his or her parents :

An authorization or a legalized letter to the mayor indicating that their parents allow their child to go on a trip with the person accompanying him / her.

Health :

It is about being in good physical condition. During the hike, it is necessary to be self-sufficient and take with you a medicine kit (dressings, aspirin, anti-inflammatory, antibiotics, anti-diarrhea, total screen, lip balm, disinfectant tablets, eye drops).

Water and drinks :

For this trek, the supply of water is made in sources, its treatment is recommended (type Micropur). Tea is served at noon (except for the stages where the mules do not follow the same route as the group) and at the arrival of stage. In the evening a tea is offered after the meal.

Portage :

Each participant walks on foot with a light backpack, containing only the personal belongings necessary for the day (gourd, camera, pharmacy kit ...). The rest of the equipment and the equipment of bivouac, as well as the refueling, are transported according to your journey by the mules.

Framing :

A professional  guide certified by the Mountain Trades Training Center (CFAMM) will accompany you for all our treks .             You will be assisted by a team of cook muleteers.

You will be notified of the schedule and venue with your guide.

Money and tips :

Currency is the Dirham. 1 € = 10.60 Dh.

Allow cash to pay for your drinks and meals if not included in the estimate, and for tips for the team accompanying you during your hike / trip.

Accommodation :

To better enjoy the outdoors and nature, we opted for the formula "Bivouac" as accommodation. The places of our bivouacs are chosen according to several criteria: the beauty of the site, the calm, the safety, the proximity of a water point .... We provide two-seater tents with foam mattress with sleeping cover, mess tents for the evening meal, floor mats, cutlery and kitchen items. Nights in lodgings are planned in this trek.

In the city of Marrakech: nights in a 3 * hotel (based on Moroccan classification), in a double or triple room. There is possibility in single room / tent for an extra charge.

Clothing and small items :

It is necessary to wear good quality shoes "hiking in the mountains". It is hot during the day but the nights can be cool. It is therefore advisable to provide outfits accordingly: Anorak - polar - jogging - t-shirts - bermudas - hat or chèque, and sunglasses, gloves and hat will be welcome especially in the evening and early morning.

Headlamp, spare bulbs and batteries, lighter to burn litter, sunscreen cream for skin and lips, toiletries, toilet paper, wipes for cleaning.

Meals :

During the hike they are prepared by a cook. Made with fresh products, they are mainly composed of salads cooked in midday and local dishes in the evening (couscous, tagine ...). A full breakfast is served outdoors or in tents before starting the day. During the bivouacs and for more comfort, meals are served every night under the mess tent. Dry fruits (dates, dried figs, peanuts & pralines) are offered to the participants during the hike.

Materials to be provided :

Cloisonne sleeping bag, normal use 0 to -5 ° C - Hiking sticks especially for descents in the mountains - tennis or sandal with good soles to walk in the water courts in certain hikes - A rain cape.

Travel and Transportation :

Transfers are carried out in taxi, in group-reserved minibuses, or private 4x4. For your comfort and safety all vehicles have a tourist transport approval.

It is forbidden to photograph or film anything that is military.
