Fez to Marrakech by the Desert - 5 days

A complete journey bringing you through the most stunning landscapes of Morocco.

The cedar tree forest of the middle Atlas – The Zit palm groove – The high dunes of Mergouza – The Dades valley – The roses valley – The Ksair Ait Benhadou – The high Atlas.

Day 1 : Fez / Ifrane / Midelte / Erfoud / The dunes

Departure by 4X4 towards the middle Atlas, passage by Ifrane and then the Berber city of Midelt, lunch in this city, and then by the pass of Tizi n'Talghement, to cross the high Atlas and descent of the gorges and the beautiful valley of Ziz Until Erfoud, then Rissani and Merzouga, walking in the dunes or on camels, dinner and night in a tented tent camp. 7 hours drive.

Day 2 : Rissani / Alnif / Nkob

On foot or on camels, we find our minibus, then departure towards the East, towards Alnif, and then the oasis of Tazarine before finding our kasbah of host in the village of Nkoub. 4h30 of road.

Day 3 : Djabel Saghro / The Valley of Dades

Trail to the north, passing by the beautiful site of Bab n'Ali in the heart of massive Saghro and then cross the Tazazert pass 2200m and down to the valley of Dades, visit the gorges of Dades. Diner and night in hostel. 4h of track and road.

Day 4 : The valley of the roses / the palm grove of Skoura

Trail to the Mgoun valley, visit of the valley of Ait Ahmed with its magnificent kasbah in potting village of El Hot, and then by Boutarre, before continuing towards the palm grove of Skoura. Dinner and overnight in a 4h road and track.

Day 5 : Ouarzazate / Ait Benhadou / Marrakech

Departure to Ouarzazate, and Ait Benhadou, visit of village before continuing towards the north, by the ocher valley of Ounila and the collar of Tichka and then Marrakech. 5h30 of road.

Bivouac under nomad tent, guest house, inns.

Formalities :

A passport valid for 3 months from the day of entry into Morocco is required (essential), for nationals of the European Community (no visa).

For minors, they must have their own passport.

If the child is traveling with someone other than his or her parents :

 An authorization or a legalized letter to the mayor indicating that their parents allow their child to go on a trip with the person accompanying him / her.

Health :

It is about being healthy. Provide a small pharmacy kit (dressings, aspirin, anti-inflammatories, antibiotics, anti-diarrhea, total screen, lip balm, eye drops).

Water and drinks :

Drinks are not included in the price.

The price :

All our prices vary according to the number of participants.

The price indicated will be definitive (there will be no surprises of the additional costs!).

Framing :

You will accompany your driver.

You will be notified of the schedule and the meeting point with driver.

Money and tips :

Currency is the Dirham. 1 € = 10.60 Dh.

Provide cash to pay for your drinks and meals if not included in the estimate, and for tips for the team accompanying you during your trip.

Accommodation :

You will be informed of the names of your accommodations in the technical sheet.

Clothing and small items :

It is necessary to wear comfortable shoes for walking and walking. It is hot during the day but the nights can be cool. It is therefore advisable to provide outfits accordingly: Anorak - polar - jogging - T-shirts - Bermudas - hat or chèque, and sunglasses.

Meals :

According to the circuits, they will be meadows in small restaurants or in your accommodation

Travel and Transportation :

4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, Pajero or similar are specially assigned for this tour. For your comfort and safety all vehicles have a tourist transport approval.

Always ask for permission before photographing a person.

It is forbidden to photograph or film anything that is military.

Digital cameras: Have enough memory and batteries.

In cities you will find lab-photos to transfer your files to CD.
